What happens when bold ideas meet a shared purpose?
You don’t just get innovation you spark a movement.
Idea fest Season 1, launched by the F1 Advanced Research Lab (F1ARL) was more than an internal competition, it was a collective push for progress. Guided by the theme “Let’s Innovate सँगै,” thinkers and creators from every corner of F1Soft Group joined forces to tackle the biggest challenges in fintech. At its core, Idea fest was designed to ignite a culture of innovation where ideas are not just encouraged, but built, challenged, and elevated.
From xCards, simplifying next-generation card management, to Fone Lit, making financial literacy engaging through gamification each concept reflected a deep understanding of user needs. Smart AgriTrade envisioned a connected ecosystem for farmers and dealers, while Offline Payment explored solutions for connectivity gaps that still exist across Nepal.
Some ideas focused on inclusion and accessibility reimagining digital payments for the visually impaired, elderly, and illiterate. Others, like Biometric Authentication System (BAS) and Fone fund, pushed boundaries in security and fintech innovation. Meanwhile, Smart Initiative Nepal and Account Aggregator tackled the bigger picture rethinking how digital ecosystems and financial infrastructures can work seamlessly together.
Each idea wasn’t just a concept it was a step toward greater financial inclusion, stronger user trust, and a smarter digital Nepal.
